Knowledge of the Pacific Northwest
I am a native of the Pacific Northwest. I have explored the cities and wild spaces of the Pacific Northwest extensively. However, I have also traveled the world enough to know what a great place Bellingham and Whatcom County are to live.
Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Western Washington University three times: First with a Bachelor`s Degree in Biology, then with a Master`s Degree in Biology, and finally with a teaching certificate in secondary education. In the years between when I earned my degrees, I worked in a biology lab in Seattle and I served in the United States Peace Corps. I later taught biology at Squalicum High School in Bellingham. I left teaching to work with my husband, Stephen, at Terra Organica Health Food and Grocery Store, which we still own and operate.

My time as a biologist taught me that I am a people person and that I am most happy when I am helping and educating others. Real estate has allowed me to remain an educator and to indulge my love of houses.
I am committed to helping my clients achieve their real estate goals smoothly and with fun and a smile. I always have my client’s best interests in mind. I want my clients to consider me their personal resource during and after their real estate transaction. If I don’t know the answer to a question, I will get it ASAP.
I have extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods in Bellingham. I am familiar with the bus and trail systems in Bellingham and Whatcom County. I continually work to expand my knowledge of what is possible in Green Real Estate.
